After winning the historic ODI series 2-1 against mighty India, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza on Wednesday said the team needs to keep up and maintain the good performance which they showed in series and need to carry in the upcoming series against South Africa as well.He was talking to the reporters at a post match press conference at the match venue at Mirpur.Chasing India’s a massive total of 317/6, Bangladesh managed to get 240 runs for all in 47 overs in the third and final ODI here on Wednesday.”A lot of series are coming up … South Africa is coming here next week and our fitness levels need to be up there. We need to keep going like the way we have done, but it’s also important to learn from the mistakes. Hopefully, we can play well against South Africa as well.” he said.The Narail express said they have lots of positives to take from the series against India and they would learn from the mistakes that they did in the last match.”The way we have been playing in the series against India, we can take a lot of positives things from it. And of course not to forget, we can learn from the mistakes we made today. Mustafizur Rahman has been brilliant all through the series; he also handled the pressure well perfectly.” Mashrafe said.Commenting about the new bowling sensation Mustafizur, he said he’s a newcomer and there’s a lot for him to learn. Hopefully, he can keep going like this. We lost too many wickets in the middle. The batsmen got starts but couldn’t get going,” Mortaza concluded.For Bangladesh, Sabbir Rahman was the top scorer with a knock of 43 runs while Suresh Raina captured 3/45 off his eight overs and he later adjudged the player of the match.
