Substantial and sustainable advancement in technological arena has become an urgent need as it plays pivotal role in the economical development of a country, technological experts and researchers at a discussion here said.
They mentioned that wide-ranging expansion and promotion of technology is adjudged as only driving force to establish a justice and knowledge-based society to ensure equal distribution of scopes and resources for the people in general which give impetus to Digital Bangladesh programme.
The observations came at the inaugural session of a two-day workshop titled “Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)-based Digital Controller Design” held at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology here Thursday.
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of RUET organized the workshop focusing the design and implementation of FPGA based embedded systems.
Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Rafiqul Alam Beg, Dean of Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty Rafiqul Islam Sheikh and Department Head of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Professor Abdur Razzaque addressed the inaugural session as guest of honour.
