NDC fellows urged to uphold constitutional responsibility for dev

A two-week Capstone Course was concluded at National Defence Collage (NDC) at Mirpur Cantonment on Thursday. Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury distributed certificates among the participants of the course at a ceremony, according to an ISPR media release.
A total of 34 fellows, including six parliamentarians, five senior bureaucrats/technocrats (secretaries and equivalent), four senior military officers (major general and equivalent), two university professors, one senior doctor and an engineer, one senior police officer, two senior representatives from the government autonomous institutions, two senior journalists, six business leaders, two representatives from non-government organisation and two honorary consul generals took part in the course.
Congratulating all the fellows for their successful completion of the course, Speaker Shirin Sharmin urged them to contribute to uphold the constitutional responsibility for the development of the country. In his address, NDC Commandant Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy emphasised on knowledge, understanding and mutual respect to build up an integrated solution oriented framework for ensuring sound foundation for national security and development. Among others, high level military & civil officers, faculty members of the College and prominent personalities and their families were present on the occasion.
