Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Thursday said the fellows of the capstone course initiated by the National Defence College (NDC) would contribute to build knowledge-based society.
“Fellows will be able to contribute for building the society with sharing knowledge in different dimensions,” she said as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony at NDC auditorium, Mirpur Cantonment.
The Speaker said that the course would facilitate fellows to interact among different professions.
“It is a challenge because it is truly exposed and it imparts knowledge in different dimensions and different development sectors,” she said. Dr Shirin, also executive chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) said that the NDC course is a tremendous learning process. It is an effective mode of contributing to building a knowledge based society.
The Speaker congratulated all fellows for their successful completion of the course. She urged all fellows to contribute to uphold constitutional responsibility in order to attain security and development of Bangladesh.
NDC Commandant Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy, BB, SBP, ndc, psc, 34 fellows, eight parliamentarians, senior military officers were present, among others.
