The Graduation Dinner of National Defence Course (NDC) and Armed Forces War Course (AFWC) -14 of the National Defence College were held at Mirpur Cantonment in the city on Thursday.
Security Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister Major General (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddqui attended the programme as the chief guest, said a release here today.
Highlighting the role of NDC in building national cohesion to address development challenges in the country, he emphasized the need for greater synergy and integrity among all national forces for attaining much coveted goal of national development and security.
He reiterated government’s continuous effort in developing the country to fulfill the desire of the people and accomplish the Millennium Development Goals in future.
Commandant NDC Lieutenant General Mollah Fazle Akbar expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for patronizing the college as the Chairperson of the Governing Body.
