Hanging body of a staff of National Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank Limited was found on the basement of the bank’s Head Office in the city’s Motijheel Commercial Area on Saturday morning.
The deceased identified as Mohibul alias Babu 22, was an outsourcing pump operator of the bank. His home district was Chandpur, police said.
Motijheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Golam Rabbani said, they recovered the hanging body from the base floor of the bank around 10:30am.

Quoting local people, the OC said that Mohibul might have committed suicide.
We are investigating the incident, the police official said.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy, he said.
