Chairman of NCC Bank Limited Md Nurun Newaz Selim hopped that the bank to be the top bank in the country by 2019. The bank is also going to be launched three new services such as Gold Savings Account, Festive Loan and Travel Loan in order to avail benefit of advance technology and services.
He made the remark while speaking at the ‘Meet the Press’ programme at the banks head office in Motijheel marking its 25th anniversary on Wednesday.
Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mosleh-uddin Ahmed answered various quarries of the journalists present at the event. Vice-Chairman Sohela Hossain and Directors Khairul Alam Chaklader, Deputy Managing Directors Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir, Md Habibur Rahman and SEVP Muhammad H Kafi along with other senior executives of the bank were also present on the occasion. Speakers of the press meet said that the total deposits, advances and profit at the end of the year 2017 reached Tk 159,988.45 million, Tk 146,633.84 million and Tk 5,354.06 million respectively.
Bank’s position in terms remittance collection is fifth in the country with 56 percent increased compared to the previous year. Total import and export amount were Tk 83,722.55 million and Tk 25,893.60 million respectively during last year. The rate of growth is 49 percent and 55 percent respectively.
