President of National Congress of Bangladesh (NCB) Saber Ahammed demanded the use of Bangla in higher court judgment.
He said also, Bangladesh is a non-communal harmonious.
If we make the people aware of the bad effect of the fanaticism, communal conflict may be wiped out. We got Bangla as state language shedding blood, but Bangla is neglected everywhere, in offices, court, universities. English is frequently used which means we are not showing due respect to our language martyrs.
He said it while addressing as the chief guest a discussion meeting on the occasion of International Mother Language Day held in the head office of NCB at Mughda in capital.
Secretary General of NCB Omar Faruk Jalal presided over the function.
NCB Vice- President Kazi Mohammad Yusuf Ali was the Chief Speaker.
Presidium members Mahfuza Akter Bina, Dr. Subas Paul, Hazi Kabir Ahmaed, Md. Delwar Hosen, Mohin Uddin, Vice- Chairman Nazrul Islam and Joint Secretary G.S.M Salim Reza, among other, spoke in the function.
