The National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md Nojibur Rahman urged to the businesses to establish the revenue-friendly industry in the country.
He came up with the statement after visiting Walton factory at Chandra in Gazipur recently.
“We have established the revenue-friendly culture in the country. Walton is an example of the positive atmosphere for investment and business in the country created under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Finance Minister,” he said.
The NBR Chairman said: “Earlier many companies used to import low-standard products and sell them in the country. But many entrepreneurs established industrial organizations inside the country using the production-friendly regulations of the incumbent government. They are doing well in this field. Many companies including Walton are now manufacturing and marketing products inside the country. They are taking the country’s investment and business activities ahead day by day.” ‘Walton has set an exemplary role in paying remarkable amount of revenue maintaining proper regulations which can be followed’ he added.
The NBR Chairman inaugurated the LED TV Production Unit-3 while visiting the Industrial Park of country’s leading electronics, electrical and home appliances manufacturing company Walton. Besides, he also visited a compressor production unit of Walton which is awaiting to be inaugurated soon.
Prior to the visiting of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd and Walton Micro-Tech Corporation, the NBR boss also inaugurated several new models of Walton products including Intelligent Inverter technology air-conditioners and fridges.
