National Board of Revenue (NBR) targets to earn about Tk 1,500 crore from this year’s weeklong income tax fair beginning from September 16, one day after National Income Tax Day-2014.
The fair will be arranged in all the districts and the divisional towns and cities, including Dhaka, which will end on September 22.
The NBR has already formed a committee and a sub-committee, and taken steps to make the fair a complete success.
A senior officer of the NBR not to be named told The New Nation that they were expecting about Tk 1,500 crore from this year’s fair, which was Tk 1,100 crore last year.
