National Bank Limited opened its two (197th, 198th) branch at Shakhipur and Golar Bazar in Shariatpur on Tuesday. Chairman of the bank Zainul Haque Sikder formally inaugurated the branches by cutting ribbon, said a press release.
Director and Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the bank Parveen Haque Sikder, Independent Director A K M Enamul Hoque Shameem, Managing Director, Additional Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director, Head of Treasury, Deputy Managing Director, Head of HRD, SAVP, Shariatpur Regional Head Sankar Kumar Paul, Manager of both branches Md. Rogibul Islam and Mohiuddin Khan, other officers of the bank, President of Golar Bazar Trade Association Lokman Hossain Palowan, and local business personnel were also present in the programme.
In his speech, Chairman of the bank, expressed his gratitude to all present. He said that the authority of the bank is very happy to open its two branches.
He assured quality and modern banking services to the people of that locality. He also told the audience that National Bank is keen to help the entrepreneurs of Shariatpur to make it an industrial area.
