National Bank Limited (NBL) opened its 191st branch at Bhawlagonj in Panchagarh district on Tuesday.
Deputy Managing Director of the bank Wasif Ali Khan formally inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, said a press release of the bank.
Local lawmaker Advocate Nurul Islam Sujan and Deputy General Manager of Bangladesh Bank, Rangpur Branch, Cinmoy Kumar Roy were present at the function as special guests.
Md Nazim Uddin, senior assistant vice-president and manager of Panchagarh Branch of the Bank, presided over the function, while Rakib Uddin, manager of Birampur Branch, delivered the welcome addresses and Md Golam Gaziur Rahman, manager of Bhawlagonj Branch, gave the vote of thanks.
