Annual General
Meeting (AGM) and election of Nazrul Academy was held Nazrul Bhaban at Belalabad in the city’s Moghbazar area recently.
Presided over by President of Nazrul Academy Dr Ashraf
Siddiqui its treasurer Shahabuddin Khan
presented the annual financial report and budget in the meeting. General Secretary Mintu Rahman gave welcome speech
on the occasion.
Later 15 persons were announced for the post of members of the new committee by Election Commissioner Justice Abdur Rouf. They are: Dr Nashid Kamal, Syed Ziaul Haque, Abdul Jabbar Mehman,
Shahabuddin Khan, Md Abdul Hannan,
Md Idris Ali,
Mahtabul Alam, Reza Matin, Rukhsan Ara, Imam Hossain
Chanchal, Engr M Atiqur Rahman, ASP Nurjahan Begum, Syed Hossain Sayeed, Abdul Muqit Chowdhury and M Mizanur Rahman.
