Mohammad Nazim of host Bangladesh emerged champion in the Runner Group 29th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship with 06 under par scoring a gross total of (70+70+74+68) 282 after the four-round matches concluded at the Kurmitola Golf Club on Saturday.
Another Bangladesh golfer Mohammad Sajib Ali finished runner-up in the event with 05 under par making a gross scores of (69+73+75+66) 283.
Trishul Chinnappa of India secured the 3rd position after playing a good game in the 4th round matches.
After the 2nd round, Thailand ladies team, comprising of Supamas Sangehan and Budsabakorn Sukapan, clinched the ladies team title with 06 under par scoring (141 + 141) 282.
Myanmar ladies team, comprising Yin May Myo and May Oo Khine finished runners-up while Bangladesh ladies ‘B’ team became 3rd in the event.
In the ladies single category, Budsabakorn Sukapan of Thailand won the title while her compatriot Supamas Sangehan finished runner-up.
