Entertainment Report :Popular TV actresses Nawshaba and Farzana Rikta performed together in a TV play under the direction of popular film actor and director Khalid Hossain Samrat. Under the story written by Rana Zakaria Nawshaba and Rikta are acting together in a play titled Khotka. Directed by Samrat shooting of the play began yesterday in the city’s Uttara area.Samrat is very much optimistic about the comedy story based play Khotka, he said.Besides giving direction Samrat is also acting in this play. While talking about Rikta and Nawshaba’s performance in the play its director Samrat told this correspondent, “I have taken Nawshaba and Rikta with the demand of the story of the play. Both of them have acted well and not only as a co-actor but also its director I am very much pleased with them for their performances. I believe the play will attract the viewers.”Actress Nawshaba shared her feelings by this way, “For the first time I am acting under Samrat Bhai’s direction. He works in organized way. I am really happy to work in this play.”Another actress Farzana Rikta said, “Earlier I worked with Samrat Bhai as his co-actress in movie Kartuz. It was my first work under his direction. I have enjoyed a lot working in this play.”Samrat informed that the play Khotka will be aired on Channel i in Eid-ul-Fitr. On the occasion of coming Eid he has also made two telefilms – Premey Porar Din and Crodh and a play titled Biyer Koyekdin Agey. These will be aired in different satellite channels in Eid. Lutfar Rahman George, Noyon, among others, also acted in other roles in the play Khotka.
