The recently released Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer titled Babumoshai Bandookbaaz reminds us of a very popular character called Babumoshai played by none other than Amitabh Bachchan in the classic cult film Anand. Not a lot of people know this, but the word Babumoshai is not derived from Bengali language. It’s just a combination of two words; Babu and Moshai, both meaning Mister. The word Babumoshai was used by veteran actor Rajesh Khanna in Anand and his way of referring to his doctor friend, Amitabh Bachchan as Babumoshai is fondly remembered by the audience till date.
