Bangladesh Navy personnel separately distributed relief materials including food, masks, soaps and leaflets maintaining social distance among the destitute people and sprayed germicides on different roads in Barguna and Bagerhat districts.
In Barguna, Navy personnel distributed foodstuffs, 150 leaflets, sprayed germicides on different roads, conducted social awareness campaign on Monday against deadly coronavirus outbreak at Zila sadar, Bamna, Betagi, Taltoli and Pathorghata in the district, said an official press releases issued by zonal Naval zone in Khulna.
Marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Navy personnel distributed solar panel among 100 destitute families at different parts of Barguna district.
Besides, the Navy personnel of Bagerhat district assisted the local administration for distributing relief materials among 284 poor families and handed over leaflets on awareness building among people as well as sprayed disinfectant on various streets.
