Navy Chief returns home from India

The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury returned home on Thursday after wrapping up his official visit to India.
During the visit, the Navy Chief had several meetings with Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Staff Committee Chairman and Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
Besides, Admiral Aurangzeb also paid courtesy calls on Defence Secretary Ajay Kumer, Southern Naval Command Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Vice Admiral Anil Kumer Chawla and Eastern Naval Command’s Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Vice Admiral Atul Kumar Jain. The Navy Chief visited the National War Memorial of India, different ships and training base and shipyards during his visit there.
The visit will play an important role for strengthening the maritime cooperation and friendly relations between both the countries, the release added.
