Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed yesterday inaugurated the construction work of two warships for Bangladesh Navy by cutting a piece of steel.
Defense Attach’ of Bangladesh High Commission in China Nasim Akhter, President of China Ship building and Offshore Company Yang Zhigang and senior officials of BN were present, an ISPR press release said here yesterday.
Later, the BN chief exchanged views with the high officials of China Ship Design and Offshore Company there.
The navy chief will return home on August 12, the release said.
