Bangladesh Navy and BKSP moved in to the final of the Fu-Wang Polymer Industries Limited Victory Day Hockey Competition on Wednesday.
In the day’s first semifinal, Bangladesh Navy defeated Bangladesh Air Force by four goals to nil at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Chayan, Jimmi, Roman, Krishna scored one goal each for Bangladesh Navy.
In the day’s second semifinal, BKSP beat Bangladesh Army by 7-6 goals in the tie-breaker at the same venue.
The stipulated time was locked 3-3.
Rajib, Rabbi, Mahbub of BKSP scored one goal each while Rokonuzzaman of Bangladesh Army netted two goals and his teammate Milon scored one goal.
Today Bangladesh Navy will take on BKSP in the final at 3.00 pm at the same venue.
President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar will be the chief guest of the final while Chairman of ATN Bangla Dr Mahfuzur Rahman and Director of Fu-Wang Polymer Industries Limited Ishtiaq Ahmed will be with him as special guests.
