Naval Chief Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal left Dhaka for India on Saturday by the invitation of Indian Naval Chief Admiral Karambir Singh.. Assistant Naval Chief (Operations) saw Shaheen Iqbal off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
During his visit Shaheen Iqbal will pay courtesy call on Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, Admiral Karambir Singh and other high officials there.
Shaheen Iqbal will also visit Information Fusion Center for Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR)
He will return to country on October 29 next.
