The 26th National Women’s Handball Tournament kicks off at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here today (Monday).
Dhaka will play Dinajpur in the tournament opener starting at 3:00pm.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
Sponsor organisation Exim Bank chairman Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder will also be present in the function.
A total of 18 teams, including three services and 15 district teams, will compete in the weeklong national meet organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation.
