The ‘National Woman Debate Competition’ organised by Jahangirnagar University Debate Organisation (JUDO) was concluded at Selim Al Deen Muktamancha on the campus on Saturday night.
Final round of the competition was held at Muktamancha at about 7.00pm on Saturday while JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam enjoyed the debate as the chief guest.
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) became champion while University of Dhaka (DU) was adjudged as runners up.
JU VC Professor Dr. Farzana Islam distributed the prizes among the winners and urged the debaters to establish the truth which is brought out through debate. She also said, ‘Students have to play a vital role to remove the darkness inside the light’.
