Joint Action for Nutrition Outcome (JANO) project, a consortium comprised of CARE, Plan International, and ESDO funded by the European Union (EU), with co-funding from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) have actively and successfully participated in National Education Week 2022 observation in its working area including upazila, district and divisional level.
The divisional level event was arranged on 31 last month in Police Lines School and College, Rangpur auditorium and the Director, Directorate of secondary and Higher Education, Rangpur zone, Rangpur Professor S M Abdul Motin Laskor presided over the prize giving and closing ceremony. The Divisional Commissioner, Rangpur Md. Abdul Wahhab Bhuiyan graced the programme as chief guest. About two thousand people including students, guardians, teachers, govt. and non-govt. representatives joined the event. JANO got a stall to display the project education materials and more than thousand people visited the stall and praised JANO’s interventions.
