A national children painting festival for Sylhet region was held at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) recently.
Batighar, a Dhaka-based cultural school, in association with Sylhet Debate Federation (SDF) organised the festival.
The painting festival began at 10:00am on the premises of university’s Shaheed Minar and continued till afternoon.
Freedom Fighters’ Union of Sylhet city unit Commander Bhabatosh Roy Burman Rana was present on the function as Chief Guest while Chief of SUST Sociology Department Professor Jasim Uddin and Associate Prof Faruque Uddin were present, among others, as Special Guests. Partici pants at the event were given certificates and gift packs.
