The Lotto 3rd National Women’s (Under-19) Handball Competition starts today at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium. Bangladesh Handball Federation has arranged the handball competition while Express Leather Products Limited (ELPL) is the sponsor of the competition.
Marking the ensuing handball competition, a press conference was held at the office room of Bangladesh Handball Federation on Saturday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Managing Director of ELPL Kazi Jamil Islam, Chairman of the Organising Committee Jobera Rahman Linu were present at the conference, among others.
A total of 12 teams are taking part in the handball competition. They are: Naogaon District team, Jamalpur District team, Jessore District team, Bagerhat District team, Narail District team, Mymensingh District team, Panchgahr District team, Rangamati District team, Dinajpur District team, Narayanganj District team, Faridpur District team and Gopalganj District team.
The budget of the competition has been estimated at Tk 4,26,000 while ELPL will give Tk 4,00,000 to BHF and BHF will bear rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
