BJMC will face Bangladesh Ansar in the final of the EXIM Bank 27th National Women’s Handball Championship at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium today. The match begins at 1.30 pm.
The two semi-finals of the meet were held at the same venue on Tuesday.
In the day’s first semi-final, BJMC defeated Dhaka district team by 32-8 goals after finishing the first half with a comfortable 16-4 goals lead.
In the day’s second semi-final, Bangladesh Ansar edged past Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 26-24 goals after completing the first session with a hard-fought 14-10 goals lead.
Today Bangladesh Police Handball Club will meet Dhaka district team in a place-deciding match at the same venue at 12.00 Noon.
After the final match, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mohammed Nasim will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
President of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the prize-giving ceremony.
