The 4th Walton National Women’s Baseball Competition begins today at the Paltan Ground, which is adjacent to the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association will arrange the three-day long baseball meet under auspices of Walton Group.
Executive Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mohammad Moazzem Hossain Bhuiyan, Additional Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Sharif Mostafizur Rahman, President of Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association and Freedom Fighter Md Solaiman, General Secretary of the Association Aminul Islam Liton will be present in the inaugural session today.
A total of eight teams will take part on the knock-out basis competition.
The players of the participating clubs will take part in the baseball meet after maintaining government health protocol.
