The National Women’s Baseball begins today at the Paltan Maidan.
Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association will arrange the handball meet under auspices of Walton Group.
A total of eight teams splitting into two groups will take part in the four-day long baseball competition. The baseball tournament will be held on knock-out basis. Top two teams from each group will play in the semi-final. The winners of the semi-finals will face each other in the final.
Marking the upcoming handball competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday. Senior Executive Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association Aminul Islam Liton were present at the conference.
Defending champions Bangladesh Ansar & Village Defence Party, Bangladesh Police, Sirajganj Krira Shikkha Protisthan, Solaiman Sporting Club, Sand Angel Baseball Club, Community Sports Club of Savar, Dhaka District team and Feroze Smrity Sangsad.
