Two office teams-Titas Gas and Power Development Board (PDB)—won their respective matches in Shahjalal Islami Bank 28th National Men’s Volleyball Championship at the Shaheed Suhrawardy National Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.
Titas Gas outplayed Pabna DSA by 25-14, 25-11, 25-12 points while PDB beat Bhola DSA by 25-16, 25-17, 25-11 points.
In the 23rd National Women’s Volleyball Championship, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) earned the 2nd consecutive victory beating Chittagong DSA by 25-15, 25-5, 25-5 points while Bangladesh Ansar defeated Khulna DSA 25-2, 25-2, 25-12 points at the same venue Tuesday afternoon. Four men’s and four women’s matches will be held on Wednesday at the same venue.
