The 34th South East Bank National Table Tennis Competition begins today (Thursday) at Rajshahi Women’s Sports Association Gymnasium with the participation of a record number of players.
Local MP Fazley Hossain Badsha is expected to inaugurate the meet as chief guest at 4pm.
A total of 224 players-171 men and 53 women- from 45 districts and services teams from across the country are taking part in the competition, sponsored by South East Bank Limited.
The competition will be held in seven events. The events are men’s singles & doubles, women’s singles & doubles, men’s team event, women’s team event and mixed doubles.
