The Walton 8th National Taekwondo Competition will begin on May 29 at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council.
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation will arrange the meet with the financial assistance of Walton Group.
Regarding this competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday. Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Senior Additional Director of Walton Group (Marketing) Kamal Hossain, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif, Secretary General of Bangladesh International Taekwondo Association Solaiman Sikder were present at the conference.
A total of 160 competitors from different districts, services team and a team will take part in the three-day long taekwondo meet. They are: Dhaka district, Munshiganj district, Narayanganj district, Shariatpur district, Madaripur district, Luxmipur district, Rangpur district, Chittagong district, Cox’s Bazar district, Rajshahi district, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP and Bashundhara Group Taekwondo team.
The taekwondo meet will be concluded on May 31.
