The Walton 7th National Taekwondo Competition began at the National Sports Council. First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn and Senior AGM of Walton Mehrab Hossain Asif inaugurated the Competition by releasing the balloons as chief guests at the premises of National Sports Council.
Secretary General of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Md Solaiman Shikder presided over the inaugural ceremony.
A total of 150 athletes from eight districts are taking part in the taekwondo meet. The competition will be held in five divisions. They are: Children Division, Women’s (Junior) Division, Women’s (Senior) Division, Men’s (Junior) Division and Men’s (Senior) Division.
