National Surfing to begin on April 21

The BRAC Chicken 2nd National Surfing Competition will begin on April 21 at the Laboni Point in Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach.
Minister for Information Hasanul Haq Inu will inaugurate the three-day long surfing competition as the chief guest. Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashed Khan Menon will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Marking the upcoming surfing meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of the National Sports Council Tower on Saturday.
President of Bangladesh Surfing Association (BSA) Kazi Firoz Rashid, MP, General Secretary of BSA Moazzam Hossain Chowdhury, Vice-President of BSA Md Zeahad Uddin, Vice-President of BSA Jamal Rana and Treasurer of the Association Aminul Islam Liton, DGM (Sales) of BRAC Diary & Food Project Md Saifur Tahman, Chief of Surfing the Nations of USA Kent were present at the conference, among others.
A total of 150 surfers will take part in the surfing competition.
The training of surfing will start from April 12.
