State Minister for Science and Technology Yeafesh Osman said Wednesday that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave us independence and his daughter, People’s leader, Sheikh Hasina gave us development by digitizing the nation.
He said the new generation has advanced much using digital method. This advanced generation in science and technology will work as soldiers of development in future.
The state minister said a country cannot progress without science and technology. The government is working to achieve that progress. Digitization will reach everyone.
He said this while inaugurating the 35th National Science and Technology Week and Digital Fair 2014 this morning at the premises of District Shilpakola Academy here. The fair will continue for two days. Forty five stalls have been set up in the fair. State minister went around the fair and talked to the students taking part in setting up stalls.
Before that, the state minister attended a discussion as the chief guest in the auditorium of District Shilpakola Academy.
