National Mourning Day was observed in Phulpur Upazila in Mymensingh by different programmes.
Phulpur Upazila Parisad organised a discussion meeting on the occasion. Sharif Ahmed MP addressed the programme as Chief Guest and said if Bangabandhu was not born , we would not be independent from Pakistan and would remain under regime of Pakistan.
Only Bangabandhu played the vital role in the independence of Bangladesh. Sharif also condemned the killing of Bangabandhu with his family members. ASM Ferdous, UNO presided over the meeting.
Among others , Habibur Rahman Habib, Vice Chairman, Phulpur Upazila Parishad, Monowara Khatun, Women Vice Chirman, Shahin Parvin, Assistant Comissioner(land) and Abdul Motaleb Mia, Office-In Charge- Phulpur thana spoke in the programme.
