The Walton 7th National Men’s Baseball Championship will begin on September 30 at the Paltan Ground, which is adjacent to the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association will arrange the baseball meet under auspices of Walton Group.
Marking the upcoming baseball tournament, a press conference was held at the conference room in the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association Aminul Islam Liton, Executive Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn and the other officials of Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association were present at the conference.
A total of eight teams splitting into two groups will take part in the baseball competition. Top one team from each group will play in the final. The participating teams are: Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Ansar, Dhaka District team, SKSP of Sirajganj, Community Sports Club, Sand Angel Baseball Club, DCC Baseball Club and SSC.
The final match will be held on October 2.
