Securing the slogan ‘Ganit Niye Vabbe Joto, Shanito Hobe Buddhi Toto’ Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) is going to organize ‘5th National Math Olympiad-2018’ on October 12 on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.
The contest will be held at the Jahangirnagar University School and College at 9am to 12 pm in two shifts.
President of JUSC Khandakar Oliullah disclosed the event today at a press conference that was held at Jahangirnagar University Journalists’ Association (JUJA) in the afternoon.
‘Director of Wazed Miah Science Research Center and also the adviser of JUSC Professor Khabir Uddin will inaugurate the programme’, he said
Around four thousands students of class VI to XII from over hundred schools and college around the country will participate in the contest while 15 from each class will be selected as winner’, he added.
Participants will have to answer 50 questions in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) in the contest while a participatory certificate will be awarded to each contestant.
JUSC General Secretary Sohrab Sharkar Shadhin and Organizing Secretary Shariful Islam Sharif addressed the press meet among others.
