The Walton National Martial Art Competition was concluded at the gymnasium of National Sports Council on Tuesday.
In the day’s under-45 kg weight category, Hridoy Islam Chunnu bagged gold medal.
In the day’s under-55 kg weight category, Sheikh Toha earned the gold medal.
In the day’s under-30 kg weight category, Sunny achieved the gold medal.
After the competition, Minister for Shipping Shajahan Khan distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Head of Sports and Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif were with him as special guests.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation Hasanuzzaman Moni was present at the time.
Above 400 participants of 15 districts, BKSP, Bangladesh Ansar, Bangladesh Police took part in the three-day long meet.
The each gold medal winner of 100 weight categories was awarded with the Home Appliance of Walton. Besides, the other winners got medals.
