National library day was observed on Friday in the country with the theme in every house in the pledge of the Mujib Borsho.
Kishoreganj District Administration including Department of Public libraries (DPL) observed the day Through different programmes with a view to building a well educated enlightened nation and making the peoples particularly the new generation move library oriented.
A discussion meeting at local Government Public library reading hall on Friday morning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC,ICt&Education) Habibur Rahman attended as chief guest while District Government Librarian Azizul Haque in the chair.
It was addressed among others by District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, Sadar Model Police Station officer-in charge (OC,Investigation) Mizanur Rahman, CAB district President Alam Sarowar Tito, District Mohila Awami League General Secretary Bilkis Begum, Ruhul Amin, Assistant Professor Shamiul Haque Mollah, Headmaster Siddiqur Rahman and Tanvir Haider.
