The two-day long RDDL 26th National Junior (Boys’ & Girls’) Wrestling Competition begins tomorrow at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Marking the upcoming wrestling meet, a press conference was held at Dhaka Metropolis Football League Committee conference room in the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation Tabiur Rahman, Joint-Secretary of the Federation Mesbahuddin Azad and Editor of Bhorer Pata Dr Kazi Ertaza Hossain were present at the conference.
Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation will arrange the wrestling competition.
The wrestlers from eight divisions will take part in the wrestling competition. The divisions are: Dhaka division, Khulna division, Rangpur division, Rajshahi division, Chattogram division, Mymensingh division, Barishal division and Sylhet division.
The competition of Boys’ Group will be held in eight weight categories. They are: 41-45 kg, 48kg, 51kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 71kg, 71kg, 80kg.
The meet of the Girls’ Group will be held in eight weigh categories. They are: 30-40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 53kg, 57kg, 61kg, 65kg.
