The EXIM Bank Limited 22nd Junior Boys’ and 4th Junior Girls’ National Junior Boxing competition began on Friday at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) in Savar.
BKSP director (training) M Mosharaf Hossain formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest, sponsored by EXIM Bank Limited, said a press release on Friday.
A total of 166 boys’ and girls’ boxers including 97 of boys’ and 69 of girls’ from 70 teams and associations are taking part in the meet, organized by Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation.
The competition is being held in seven categories in boys’ group and five categories in girls’ group.
