Nurul Islam Memorial 32nd National Junior Athletics Competition begins tomorrow at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Above six hundred junior athletes from 64 districts will take part in the two-day long athletics meet. State Minister for LGRD Mashiur Rahman Ranga will formally open the athletics meet as the chief guest. Chairman of Enayetnagar Union under Fatullah Upazila Asaduzzaman and General Secretary of Bangladesh Athletics Federation Ibrahim Changish will be present at the time.
The budget of the athletics meet has been estimated at Tk 11,00,000 while Nurul Islam Memorial Sangsad, the sponsor of the meet has given Tk 5,00,000 to Bangladesh Athletics Federation and the Federation will bare rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
Marking the ensuing athletics competition a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday. General Secretary of Bangladesh Athletics Federation Ibrahim Changish disclosed all the matters related to the athletics meet.
