British Council Bangladesh hosted the National IELTS Partners Meet on Thursday at Raowa Convention Hall in the capital. The theme for the event was IELTS Pit Stop just like in Formula 1 racing where in between the journey every car comes to the pit stop after certain time to refuel and check all the parts and the dashboard. The same trend was adopted in this event. IELTS Pit Stop signified the 25-year journey of IELTS and now a pit stop is taken to realign British Council and its partners with the journey ahead.
Deep Adhikari, Director Examinations Services, British Council Bangladesh, Nasreen Sultana, Deputy Exams Manager, Syeed Hasan, Head of Business Development, Nafiz Zaman, Business Development Manager along with other stakeholders were present at the event. The media, student engagement agencies, IELTS Registration Partners andIELTS tuition providers were invited to the event. The main attraction of the event was the group activity and discussion where inputs from all the guests on how to improve the quality of IELTS and how British Council can further improve IELTS experience for the test takers were taken.
At the end of the event, British Council Management will also cut a cake to mark the ongoing celebration of 25 years of IELTS.
IELTS plays a significant role in people’s education and career and British Council has partnered successfully with Cambridge as one of the administrators in establishing this role.
