Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP said, red green national flag of the country must be protected from the hands of the anti-liberation forces through uniting the people of prospective Raozan irrespective of caste and creed. He cautioned the people of Raozan upazila against the conspiracy of the anti-govt forces.
He disclosed it while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the 5-day long Bijoy Mela at Noapara High School ground in South Raozan on Thursday evening as Chief Guest through hoisting national and Muktijudda flags.
Cochairman of the Bijoy Mela Parishad and President of the Noapara High School Managing Committee Md. Jafar Ahmed presided over the reminiscence of Liberation War at Bijoy Mela .
Vice Chairman of Raozan upazila Alhaj Noor Mohammad, Panel Mayor of Raozan Bashir Khan, Chairmen viz. Abbasuddin Ahmed, Ln.Shahabuddin Arif, Bhupesh Barua, Syed Abdul Jabbar Sohel, Rokanuddin, and Taslimuddin Chowdhury graced the occasion as special guests. Union AL secretary and Joint Secretary of Mela Committee Babul Mia Member conducted the inauguration programme as moderator.
The chief guest in his deliverations said our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina achieved worldwide reputations of Bangladesh with dignified positions in all respects. He said Sheikh Hasina means Bangladesh, and Sheikh Hasina is the identity of Banglar Manush (people).
He said for the last two decades, I am working relentlessly for the progress and peace aimed at turning the Raozan Upazila as model upazila of the country.
He urged the people of Raozan to evaluate the performances during last two decades than the previous periods of BNP regime.
He said now time came to justify the development activities during my tenure.
While explaining the descriptions of development statistics of thousand crores of taka in Raozan said it has became possible due to Sheikh Hasina’s govt . He reiterated for unity among the pro-liberation forces in favour of the present govt so as to return to state power in next term.
Meanwhile, ABM Fazle Karim MP will grace the discussions at Bijoy Mancha of Bijoy Mela being held at Raozan Govt College ground as Chief Guest yesterday .
Councilor and 2nd Panel Mayor of Raozan Jamiruddin Parvez is organizing the Bijoy Mela at Raozan College ground every year with the inspiration of the MP Fazle Karim chowdhury.
