The two-day national council of the Kendriya Khelagrah Ashor will begin at Shisu Academy in the city today.
The motto of the council is “Let us love the country and open the door of peace and happiness, to build a new generation imbued with the spirit of Liberation War.”
National Professor Dr Anisuzzaman will inaugurate the council while Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar will attend the council as the chief guest.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr M Akhtaruzzaman will also attend the council as the special guest.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan will attend as the chief guest at the closing session of the council on the second day.
After inception on May 2 in 1952, the organization is voluntarily working for protecting child rights, to unearth talent of the children, founding a science based society and even the organization is struggling to motivate the children as a good and patriotic citizen from the very beginning since its birth.
All the participants including its district, regional, city and branch representatives will participate in the national council.
