Keeping in view the theme of Bangabandhu’s philosophy, development in cooperatives, the 50th National Cooperative Day was celebrated on November 8 through a colorful rally and discussion meeting jointly organized by district cooperatives and co-operatives.
Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed addressed the discussion as the chief guest. Deputy Commissioner Abu Jafar presided over the function. The special guest was District Council Chairman Adv. Matiar Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police Marufa Jamal, Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension Department Shamim Ashraf, Captain (Retd.) Azizulhaq Bir Pratik, Guerrilla Leader Dr. SM Shafiqul Islam Kanu. District Cooperative Officer Farid Uddin Sarkar gave welcome speech.
