President of Chittagong City BNP and former Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud chowdhury said govt has finalized final planning to enforce Baksal through formulating the National Broadcast Policy.
He said this NBP is an instrument to curb the independence of the mass media and the rights of the people. He was addressing the protest rally against the national broadcast policy held Nur Ahmed road infront of party office on Tuesday as chief guest as arranged by the 20-party alliance. He said following the formulation of the broadcast policy , present govt killed the democracy by hecking.
He also alleged that present govt has chosen the state terrorism for ruling the country . He also alleged that there is no voting rights in the country, no opinion rights, no security of citizens and no law of the land and through formulating the NBP , AL govt snatched the independence of judiciary and mass medias.
Vice President of city BNP shamsul Alam presided over the rally. Among others, former whip Wahidul Alam , former MP Begum Rosy Kabir, city vice president Abu Sufian, general secretary Dr. Shahdat Hossain, Principal Nurul Amin of Jamaate Islami, Noor Mohammad of BJP and other leaders of the component parties of the alliance were present in it.
