The final match of 4th Walton National Baseball championship will be held today (Saturday) at Paltan ground adjoining Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
Bangladesh Police will take on Dhaka Commerce College in the final that kicks off at 8 am.
Zahid Ahasan Russel ,MP, chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee of Youth and Sports Ministry, will present in the final as chief guest and distribute the prizes among the winners.
Awami League sports secretary and renowned sports organizer Harun-Ur Rashid, FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, head of games and welfare division of Walton, baseball development committee’s director Hiroki Watenebe and tournament committee’s chairman M Yahia will present as special guests.
Meanwhile in the day’s group phase matches, Sylhet Division beat Sirajganj district by 11-7 points while Rajshahi Division defeated Dhaka district by 13-12 points in the keenly contested encounter.
