National Bank Limited promoted Abdus Sobhan Khan, Head of Treasury and Shah Syed Abdul Bari, Head of Human Resources Division of the bank as Deputy Managing Directors on Monday.
Abdus Sobhan Khan has been serving as Senior Executive Vice President before this promotion. Mr. Khan started his career at National Bank Limited as Probationary Officer in April 1984 after completing M. Com. in Accounting from University of Dhaka. He has provided 32 years of continuous service at National Bank Limited and had the opportunity to work in different banking section with different management levels. In his long banking career, he attended several local and foreign trainings, workshops, seminars etc.
Prior to this promotion,Shah Syed Abdul Bari was the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources Division of National Bank Ltd.
Abdul Bari obtained his M.A. with Honors in Social Welfare from University of Dhaka. He started his banking career with AB Bank Ltd in 1983. Subsequently, he worked in American Express Bank, Prime Bank Ltd and Mercantile Bank Ltd in various capacities holding different important portfolios.
Shah Syed Abdul Bari was born in Dhaka in 1959. He is a proud son and grandson of respected & renowned SHAH SHAHEB OF PARIBAGH, Dhaka.
